Watson Hanson is an Associate, Sustainability and ESG at HXE Partners. His professional experience is in shareholder advisory and ESG strategy, working with companies to shape their governance and sustainability programs in line with peer best practices and investor expectations.

Prior to joining HXE Partners, Watson worked at PJT Camberview as a member of the ESG Practice Team. He's worked with leaders and executives at companies to develop their climate strategies and critiqued and improved their sustainability reporting and messaging. He's also helped prepare sophisticated management, board and investor presentations, developed strategies for engaging with and securing support of investors, and gained exposure to various reporting frameworks, standards and ESG ratings agencies.

Watson holds an M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco with a focus on Climate & Energy, and a B.A. in Biology from Colgate University.
